so you had the cam underwater??? is it waterproof, or you have a case for it? Interesting choice of crop too. :)
The camera was in underwater mode its just a option to use like indoors, auto, manual, portrait.
For some reason it tints everything yellowish though compared to the regular picture I took but that one did not turn out so well.

the camera has an underwater mode???? really? I have never seen one that does.
But that does not usually work, considering you are not really under water. :) Anyways, you will have a whole different set of tech to use with the D200. It's actually MUCH MUCH easier, if you have a D200 and a SB flash. We'll show you in a day, and you will be shooting like a pro :)
Its a cannon SD200 powershot a little point and shoot?

SD200 Underwater mode...
Like Ed already said, that mode is for shooting REAL underwater with an appropriate case.
It tries to correct the overbalance of blue colours while diving.
My Canon A620 has that mode too, and i hope i can use it one day ;-)

That's a beautiful fish! Apistos are not the easiest fishes to photograph, so it's a good start.
I'm sure that Andreas is right (he usually is), the camera is set up for snorkelling or something like that.

Sometimes (some angles) the on board flash light can result the brownish tint. Btw, you might tell us why you arrange the cute fish in that corner.
