well since i proved that several people do like wild discus i couldnt contain myself to buy this one. hehe. here is a basic shot of him..

Hi Geoff03, that's a beautiful discus you have there. The color seems on the dull side, and the focus is not spot on. I think the plan surface of the discus sometimes make the focus difficult (especially for autofocus). You might try focus on the eyes or focus near edge of the fish, or try using manual focus to ensure focus right. Just my 2 cents.

good points. the pictures seem to be coming alittle off with the new light set up on the big tank. but just more toying with it i guess. this one is kinda hard to get cause he doesnt like to sit still. just kinda drifts about the tank. and eats....eats everything..haha

Let him relax and settle in. He looks to be a nice fish, but plenty of good food (and some work on water changes) will make him a much better subject in a couple of weeks time - as I'm sure you know.
