I shot this pic the other day at the nature center in Roswell, GA.

The exposure is well-controlled and the focus is good. But I'd prefer to see a lot more d.o.f. I think it's overkill to use 1/1000 s, after all the flower won't run away so 1/250 s should be fine. That would allow you two stops extra which would have doubled the d.o.f.

Agree with Alan. Would prefer to see a bit more DOF in this shot here, especially the petals up front.

I see what you mean and actually I was shooting wildlife when I took this picture I just didn't change the settings on the camera. I will next time.
