Finally got a half decent shot of my Goldie.

and a poor shot of my Blue Phantom

The 3rd shot is pretty good, and if the scratches were not there the photo can be even better.

The scatches are bubbles from the water inflow

Oops, it's the 3rd photo I meant. Do you mean those horizontal lines are the trace of the aeration bubbles? That's interesting. Btw, turn off the room lights when taking photos can help to minimize the reflection on the glass like that on the 3rd photo, that also help the autofocus of the camera. Again, thanks for sharing, and you have some nice plecos there.
To minimise the air bubble 'streaks' you can turn off the filter when you do your photography. Just make sure you're not shooting for too long.

And, do remember to bring it back on after the photo session!!! I had done the stupid thing before, and killed a full tank of fishes.
Heh, of course. I've forgotten once aswell (probably too excited about processing and seeing the photos), but luckily I left a few filter sponges still running.
However, powerheads in pleco tanks generally aren't much more than current-makers and mechanical filters. So it should be okay.

Thanks for the tips :)
The inflow is coming from a pump in the sump below the tank, turned full on to get good water flow and high dissolved oxygen, thats why he likes sitting at the mouth of that cave because he is in the full water flow. He dosnt go in the cave because the Mango plec that lives in it chases him away.
