Hello all! Any ideas, advice, or tips about my pictures? This is the first time I'm posting my pictures here. [smilie=an9.gif] (i like the smilies!) I think some of them are a little blurry... and then there are others I used flash with because my lighting wasn't that great. [smilie=fish2.gif]

Well they are a lot better than any of my attempts.
I have taken in exess of 1000 pics of my fish and have only 1 pic worth keeping, its the glass throwing the focus out i cant get over.

Nice pictures and great camera, I wish I had a Digital Rebel [smilie=doh.gif] The colours don't look quite right in the second picture, what white balance were you using and what were your lighting conditions?

By the way, that's a great picture of your cat [smilie=c:

Thanks!! [smilie=biggrin.gif] Yeah with the second picture, I decided not to use flash and just used the light of my aquarium (which seems pretty weak), but my white balance was on automatic. Do you think that could have been the problem? I don't really know how to use that yet, though I have been experimenting with it recently. Thanks very much again! [smilie=mf_prop.gif]

Depending on your tank lights you could try Flourescent, Flourescent-high (higher K bulbs), or Incandescant and you may have better results.

Have fun experimenting with your camera.
