Hello! my name is Li but you can call me Neo or Neoprodigy. Currently I'm the administrator of Monsterfishkeepers.com and I would like to take Aquatic-Photography.com to "The Next Level."
First I would like to thank Ed (Paradise) for trusting me and have faith in me to run this forum.
Aquatic-Photography.com has been up for a since 2003. APF is a well known website for its niche, Aquatic Photography.
Running a successful forum is a not a very easy job to do. I'm sure that you see alot of aquatic sites up and gone in a few month. I have been doing 2am-er for the past year at MFK. Paradise has done a fabulous job keep this site running.
Why a new management? that I will let Ed (Paradise) explain why this new management took place.
Here are some plans that is at works now
Aquatic-Photography.com was showcased in the ACA2006 in chicago.
Monsterfishkeepers.com and Aquatic-Photography.com will be exclusive partner sites.
About 5,000 flyiers will be supplement with the MFK's Movement packets.
We will have the same kind of Movement packets to be sent out for free here at APF.
Move APF to a dedicated server with MFK
I want to assure you that currently Aquatic-Photography.com will not be intergrated with Monsterfishkeepers.com!! I feel that APF should continue as it is, a forum for Aquatic Photography.
If you have any question or concern please feel free to PM me.

Li, that was perfect.
Now as to the reasons for the transfer of ownership/management.
I have been running APF for a long time, and slowly and surely my life has gotten more and more complex, with the children and with the business and a few other things that I can not discuss publically.
I had come to a decision this spring that the time I was putting up here on APF was seriously interfering with the important things at home. My whole hobby in general did, including my 9 aquariums. At first, I tried to delegate parts of my job to the Moderator team, but as much as they helped there were still alot of things that I did and had to do myself, and I was growing more and more frustrated with it.
I have talked to Li as a fellow forum owner for a while and one day, in conversation, voiced my frustration and desire to have more free time. Li showed real interest, and offered his help in whatever capacity I wanted. After a careful consideration, I made the decision to offer APF to him COMPLETELY, as the only other choice was to just let it run without anything being done, as I was really unable to continue. Li graciously accepted and we proceeded with transfer of ownership of Domain, site and everything else. This has been going on for a while, and we have been waiting for the right time to make this announcement. I feel after ACA, and the Partnership banners, there is no longer a need to wait and see.
Li , you have my total support. I believe that you will do WONDERS for APF and will take it to the next level, just as you had done with MFK. I am still here daily, for a few minutes at least. I have had to sell all but 3 of my tanks, and find more time for family, but APF is also my family and I will be here forever, just in a different capacity.
'
Anyways, I sign off as the Admin of APF and give you the new Admin, Li "Neo".

Welcome Li, great and promising intro!
Ed, thanks for all the hard work you put into this wonderful forum. It takes a lot of patience and passion to get a website like this up and running, but it turned out great! I'm sure you'll still contribute a lot, but I can understand why APF no longer can be A-priority.

Thanks, Alex. It's still a priority for me. I want to see it thrive, and I think leaving it in Li's hands gave it the ability to do so. I still make sure to make a few posts EVERY DAY!!!

As Oblivious has stated already welcome to APF Li! We appreciate you taking on the position as administrator. Sounds like you'll do a great job!
Ed,
I'd also like to thank you for all the work you've put into this site. I don't know what's involved in running a forum, but I'm sure it takes a lot of time and effort. It was a great idea when you started it up in 2003 and has only gotten better since. Thanks
Nelson
Sounds like we're in very experienced hands. Welcome Li!
Like everyone else, I'd like to thank Ed for his time and commitment to this site. You've done a great job of it thus far and I appreciate your efforts. Cheers and relax now!

Hello Li,
i´m sorry to answer here that late. But better late then never.
Welcome to this board!
I hope some of the good old traditions will revived soon, like the monthly potm.
You have an excellent staff of mods - and Ed on your side for questions, so i´m full of confidence that there won´t be a big break. But you have some work in front, that is for sure!
