new pics with new camera

Couple of shots so far from my new nikon camera. still getting used to it and figuring things out. these are without the macro lenses on too. please let me know all comments you have on them

I like the first shot but the position of the subject isn't ideal. The gravel is kinda disturbing. The second pic is classic, but again the decor is a bit to much in the picture. But on the second one, I actually kinda like it.

These are very promising. I really like the Sturiosoma. Which Nikon are you using?

its a nikon coolpix 5700. does lots of cool stuff but i try to shot photos with the settings i find here and they come out real dark or off. its depressing
