Just some arb pics from the weekend. I'm sure to get good tips here on how to take better pics.

Nice pictures! Are you using any type of flash diffusion?
Do you mind sharing your setup?

I'm really just P&S with a Canon Powershot A620. Auto setting, flash, using optical zoom. I run ISO at normal (100), use a 10000K fluorescent in-tank as lighting, I have an alternate light (halide) that I don't use. I'm also hand-holding without image stabilising - this is really more of a dabbling with a camera than trying to set up pics. I'd be a lot more familiar with a 35mm SLR and some film. I suppose I should get a DSLR to take this seriously ......
But I do keep some nice fish and it would be good to get some decent pics of them. So a tripod would help and in the interim I need to experiment with aperture and light - rather than the camera flash. Patience at my age is more of a scarcity than a virtue, so please, someone, automate this whole thing or send me a juvi with good eyes and steady hands..
I also edit the pics with Fireworks - but I just resize and slope out the flash overexposure.
