Hi,
even more important than a big community is a working one. We had contests and projects here before - without that the site loses attractivity. In the last weeks the site reminded me a little of a ship without a captain. Just my 2 cents.

Thank you. You will have my assistance if you want. Especially with the voting software, if you are planning to use this in the future.

Li, Andreas's friend is the guy who designed the software for our POTM module (which is right now invisible for some reason). ANdreas is the best person to ask about how it works. I believe I have somewhere the package on my PC with the Local files, that you need to run the contests. It's quite a job but you will get it. Very professional, nothing like Poll voting.

Agree !
This software is one of the best out there if not THE best. I would like to see it being used on APF for a long time ! Maybe Andreas can step in and prepare the contest each month ? Andreas ?

Hi Jay,
i donīt think i find the time to prepare each contest (this is already time demanding with my own contests on afnet), but i can help if there are problems, especially for the first run and reinstallation. Ed should have an english description (i had a hard time to translate that, therefore it should be used first ;-) )
Perhaps it is possible to reinstall the scripts from a previous backup. I donīt know why old contests donīt display at the moment. The script is missing, as it seems.

I dont know either. Maybe Li's guys did not move that directory over. Li, if you see this, make sure that they copied EVERY Directory in the public_html. If they dont have it, I still have it on my server, and can give your guys access to it if needed. Those files are ESSENTIAL for APF's future with POTMs.
