Not sure if anyone has any insight into this, but I've noticed some strange halo's around pictures where I've tried using DOF and diffused flash to black-out the background.

At first glance, you might not notice it... but when I bumped up the brightness and contrast a bit, I noticed a faint greenish halo around the flower.

Were you using on-camera flash or supplementing with external light source? Perhaps you can share your lighting setup and shooting conditions as well as props (if any).

Cheers,

Cheers,

Based on the EXF data, it seems like the built in flash is being used.

Looks like pretty severe edges falling off to me. Problem should be with the lens. What lens is that btw? Try to stop down the aperture to say F/8 and see if it gets better.
