I was at our city's Remembrance Day parade and memorial, and I took a few shots....I found the 12pm light terrible and also the lack of a telephoto...
Its not "my thing", photojournalism and really I haven't done it before... but thought I'd try. its different for me... there are no "second chances"..

but I hope somebody likes em. It was a nice ceremony.

Travis,

Photojournalism is one of my favorite topics in this hobby. I really enjoy close-up candid shots done with telephoto but at the same time wide angle close-ups are just as powerful. I can see that you were struggling with highlights but you made the best out of it. I can tell that you used polarizer because of that “bluish” cast. I would look into photoshop curves / hues and try to remove that bluish cast.

Ty Jay, I think my mon was also slightly out, I really see "colour problems" now lol

Its funny, I was thinking about it. Most people get a camera to take shots of events... I never have, except this one time. I'll have to practice ;)
