I have a Fuji Finepix 2650. It is 2 Megapixels. That's about all I know about the camera, the problem is is that I cant take good pictures with it.

The flash reflects everything, and when I dont use the flash, the shutter speed is slow, and my pictures come out blurry.

Here are some of the pictures I took:

http://www.angelfire.com/ny5/clownloachworld/Clown_loaches_007.jpg - this one is with the flash

http://www.angelfire.com/ny5/clownloachworld/Clown_loaches_008.jpg - this one is also with the flash

http://www.angelfire.com/ny5/clownloachworld/fish_tank_new_fish001__14_.jpg - this one is without the flash

http://www.angelfire.com/ny5/clownloachworld/fishtank_clown_loaches_011.jpg - this is probably the best picture i have ever taken of the fish - but you can see, they are still blurry.

Can I get any help on how to get them really clear?

hey man

Well, if you get CONSIDERABLY better lighting, your camera in auto mode will use a quicker shutter speed so you will get less blur.

Your camera is being fooled by glass and water into using a slower speed. A better camera with Manual features, like shutter and aperature, would let you take control and manually assign shutter speed and aperature to get sharper pics with or without flash, depending on your lighting.

If you have to continue using this camera, then I suggest much, MUCH more lighting and turning off the flash.
That is about all ...

Discovery!!!

i found a manual mode on my camera, it says EV and has numbers like -3, 0, +3, all the way up to +1.5, and -2.1

What is this, and will they make the quality of my pics better?

That is not a manual mode.

EV - Exposure Value, a very complex thing but in the digicam world it usually means the ability to override the auto exposure system to lighten or darken an image.

oh, ok.

I figures it was manual mode, because my camera needs to be set on manual mode to get those settings.
