these are two of my fav pics taken a couple of days after i bought my dslr in a botanical garden in amsterdam

this one i like because i cant believe i actually managed to keep the shot in focus in the short time the butterfly stayed on my wife's finger : )

This one I just LOVE the texture and the color contrast, I can keep looking at it and enjoying it.

I've had to a lot of thinking about this question - it's been hard to choose, but the images that I remember best are of the Chillingham wild cattle (a bull bellowing as he approaches a cow) and of a Border collie at work during the sheepdog trials at the Hope Show.
