The mark II is a great camera..... I demoed one. They shoot fast. For certain things the mark II is better than the 1Ds. The biggest disadvantage with the mark II is that it is not full frame and therefore has a lens magification. But how can you wrong with the 1Ds, fullframe and 11 mp.

easy - the $7500 price tag ;) - I'd be spending that much on a car!!!!

but I shoot wildlife - and don't need a full frame - for all my lanscapes I generally shoot either 35mm or medium format anyway....

I am using a Nikon D70. I got the Nikon D70 Outfit as a Father's Day/Birthday present a few weeks ago. This is my first digital camera and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! [smilie=mf_laughbounce.gif] I just wish I knew how to use it, but, I think with some time I will learn. So far it has just been auto mode with the kit lens but I am ordering my new macro lens 28 July 2004. I can't imagine it getting any better than this but I am sure in a couple of years it will be replaced with something bigger and better, but, I think I am sold on this one!

I finally decided to get rid of my Leica and I'm now using a Canon EOS 20D. I had a film EOS before the Leica. I'm reaaaallly pleased with the results of this new camera, aspecially the ISO 1600 quality

I just bought a black bodied Digital Rebel this week. I finally upgraded to a real DSLR and can already tell an improvement in auto-focus and the quality of the pics it produces.

I've got a 50mm Canon EF lense on it's way...and will be planning on adding a few more lenses in the coming months. I have a feeling that this is just the tip of the iceberg. :cheesy:
