Hi
Been out doing some wild waterbirds in the last couple of weeks so thought I would post a selection :). sorry there are a lot of shots but it has been quite productive.
Common but looks good in the early morning light, a feeding Coot

Always a tricky exposure call, a cormorant
http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k217/squidfish_2006/cormo2.jpg
A water rail dashing between reedbeds
http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k217/squidfish_2006/wrail1.jpg
Great crested Grebe

On to some ducks
A tufted duck in a flap

Immature Goldeneye
http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k217/squidfish_2006/gefem9.jpg
Pintail
http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k217/squidfish_2006/pt7.jpg
Shoveler female with that comical beak
http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k217/squidfish_2006/femshove2.jpg
Male shoveler
http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k217/squidfish_2006/shov2.jpg
and Wigeon to finish
http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k217/squidfish_2006/wig1.jpg
http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k217/squidfish_2006/wigprof.jpg
and one last shot before I go a close up of that very shy crow species the Jay with the strange eyes they have.

Cheers
Rich
