I am not sure where to post this, so I thought I would try here.
The American Cichlid Association journal, the Bundtbarsche Bulletin, is looking for images of Dicrossus species for and upcoming issue. The article is a genus overview, so all varieties are needed... especially the new undescribed forms that have been coming in over the past few years.
If you have a publishable image or two that you are willing to donate, please email me at tjudy@tedsfishroom.com. Being a non-profit the ACA cannot pay for pictures, but we will certainly give you the credit for the images and send you a copy of the journal (an extra if you are an ACA member).
For the future, we are going to try to run a series of photo-essay articles on the genera that are experiencing an explosion in new varieties that are being discovered. I will post in here when we have a project running. Looking out into the not too far future we will have need of Ivanacara adoketa images, and Nijsseni-group apistos (A. nijsseni, panduro, beanschi, pandurini, etc..).
