I haven't been on here for such a long time. I got extremely discouraged at the quality of my photos, until last night....blah blah blah, long story. I have now improved my skills (macro anyway) loads more than what it was before! To me these pictures are AWESOME! But, there's always room for improvement, so here I am, back to improve and learn from those who know. *Note, I only cropped, no visual changes.:-D
Thank you in advance for the help!
The white flowers are from a Crinkled Leaf Ligustrum, and the yellow flower is a Day Lilly, at my house.

I like them both and they are very nice technically. I think I prefer the first - it's a little more delicate, while the second is 'in your face' (as the young people say).

Wow, I think that's the first compliment I've ever received with out blatant critique (besides my wife, which dosen't count :)). Thank you!
Now I just need to make these types of shots more habitual, and start learning about composing the picture a little more maybe?

Rob, both are great shots, but I like the 3D quality you got in the second one!
Nice!B-)

Rob, those are good, but I do have a suggestion for the future. It's not really critique but more of a simple advice. Any time you shoot outside, try to do it during early or later hours, when the sun is not fully up. This way you get much softer color transitions and no harsh shadows and blown out pieces. Full sun is not a great lighting choice to shoot in. I know it's not always your choice, but when it is, try to take advantage of it.

Wow, Thanks for the compliments and tips! I'll keep the sun adivce in mind, I thought it would be better for full sun. I'll try in the evening.
