Hello Everyone,

WHERE DO MOST OF YOU ORDER YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY EQUIPMENT FROM?

I thought I had found a good source (RadioActive Deals), until luckily it was pointed out to me it was to good to be true.

Being from a very rural area of Tennessee I don't have any good sources for just walking in and purchasing my equipment. I have to do most of my shopping via the Internet.

I would sure appreciate any good sources which you folks use as I am new to this and I looking to purchase a new digital camera (which I can't decide which one [smilie=sad.gif] ) and all the accessories to go with it.

Thanks Very Much for any Input,
Bryant

P.S. - I would also appreciate any info on which ones to stay away from.

I don't live in the states so I am not very sure about this. I think the one that we frequent the most is BH photo videos.

I think Adorama is suppose to be good too. Use popular photography and imaging magazine's classified ads as a guide. Those accredited with their check rate program are all bona fide.

B+H Photo
Wolf Camera
Ritz Camera

Both have similar prices - wolf camera though has the advantage of free shipping over $100.

If you are one of those people that are clumsy and have a tendency to do damage to your stuff that the manufacturers warranty doesn't cover - the extended warranty through wolf and ritz (same company), covers everything except for fire, loss and theft.

I though bought my DSLR through B+H - and will continue to buy from them.

I've never had anything but horrible experience with Adorama - so I avoid them ;)

I buy all my equipment from B&Hphotovideo.com. I've never had a problem and they don't try to sell you anything you don't want. No surprise substitutions either!

Thanks for all the tips. I have been looking at B&H, Adaroma and Wolf/Ritz. I do like some of the packages which Wolf offers. For example, they offer the Nikon D70 with 2 Sigma lenses for less than the Nikon with the 1 Nikon lens. Although, that Nikon lens is an expensive one.

Thanks,
Bryant
