Small light that is made to go on a camcorder so you can shoot movies in the dark.. This thing is a small halogen bulb, and is EXTREMELY bright.. I mean, It is literally enough light to light up a house with no walls... I was wondering if I could use it to my advantage... If I were to sit it on the top of the glass hood on my tank, so that the light shoots downward, wouldnt that also work nice for me? It makes the colors on the fish and everything stand out so nicely, so I was wondering if anybody else thought about/use this method... Other than that, All I have is stock strip lights that come with the hoods....

And, on a nice note, I just made a purchase online for a Canon Powershot S1 IS and it should be here within a week... [smilie=biggrin.gif]

Any supplementary light will help with your aquarium photography. Just make sure you don't mix different types of light (e.g. FL with tungsten) It'll mess up the white balance.

Glad you've finally made your decision on a camera. Hope you have lots of fun with it and don't forget to show us pictures!!

Cheers,
