I was so excited to see this forum on another forum...I love fish pictures, here's my favorites from my collection:

love the spots on the fin in pic #5. Very nice colors of other fish 2.
Nice collction. Especially the gouramis.

Great pics man, I agree on the Frontosa. A small comment though. Your pics could benefit a tiny bit from a little software manipulation. Here is one example with the steps I took.

Here is what I came up with:

I took the original to Photoshop 7 and cleaned up a little sharpening up the details not worrying too much about the noise.
then I used Neat Image (www.neatimage.com) and did the final noise removal tweaking with auto settings to come up with something a bit crisper, dont you think?

Yes, it came out nicely. does not work with every pic but ...
BTW, I started a whole FORUM for that exact purpose. check it out, it's called BEFORE & AFTER [smilie=lol.gif]

Admittedly, I didn't really do much touch-up work on that picture, but to express some comments back:
Positive:
1) I like the way the scales are sharper.
2) Your colors are a bit nicer.
Negative:
1) I don't like the way the eye turned out with it's pixelization.
2) Same thing with the lower fins...they just don't look like fins.
3) You've created a dark and/or light outline on the fish.
Let me try some some of my normal darkroom processing and see if you like it better.
