Newbie, to pic need advice for Sony 717

Hello Guys,

I'm new to the hobby of taking pics of fish's, I met Paradise from flowerhornusa, He's pictures are very clear and great in qaulity, I was hoping for some good advice from experts in this forum. I have a Sony 717. any advice would help
