Andri Pogo - take two
I made a thread with a bit too many pictures a few months ago:
http://www.aquatic-photography.com/f...ad.php?t=10978
So instead of adding to that old thread i wanted to make another with some of my newer pictures.
First off, the Polypterus:

Andri, great choice of camera! I'm a fan of these point and shoots, the Powershot G's, for their versatility. Did you use a closeup filter in any of these? I know the zoom is stronger than in the ealier models, curious. The G3 has the fully wired hotshoe for the -EX flashes and ST-E2 transmitter.
Thanks for sharing this excellent set!

Thank you

No i didnt use a closeup filter, but i do usually use the zoom when taking pictures.
The autofocus is not good for the aquarium so i have to manual focus almost every time.
I am however thinking of getting a second camera, a DSLR, probably a Canon 10D

Andri, I had the G3 for awhile, but found autofocus with the three-section zoom to be
slower than the two-section zoom of the G2, and no discernible improvement in image
quality, at least to me.
Good luck on moving up to a DSLR!
